This weekend sees the launch of Blue Skies, Dundee’s festival of kite flying, stargazing and rainbow chasing. The festival runs from Fri 10 to Sun 12 August and is packed full of exciting free events for all ages including kite flying, rocket launching, dance, theatre, sound performance and guerilla rainbows. Blue Skies is the first in an ongoing series of festivals bringing together cultural agencies from across the city. Creative Scotland has invested in Blue Skies as part of the Year of Creative Scotland.
