DCA is delighted to be welcoming Alan Grant, Al Ewing, Colin Macneil and Cam Kennedy, all of whom worked on the Judge Dredd comic series, to a special screening of Dredd 3D on Fri 28 September. The writers will be available for a book signing at 20:00 before introducing the 20:45 screening of the film and taking part in a Q&A afterwards.

Pete Travis' adaptation, with a script by Alex Garland, returns Dredd to the dark, visceral incarnation of the original source material. Karl Urban takes the title role as one of a fearsome group of 'Judges' tasked with keeping order in the violent metropolis of Mega City One. When he and rookie Cassandra Anderson are trapped in a 200 storey slum controlled by vicious drug lord Ma-Ma (Lena Headey), they must confront the odds and battle for their survival.
