Local roller derby team, the Dundee Destroyers, came out in force to visit DCA to see our first afternoon screening of Whip It, as well as give out flyers and tips to interested customers.

Directed by Drew Barrymore and starring Ellen Page (Juno), Whip It follows young Bliss Cavendar as she discovers her local roller derby team. Bliss’s mother is obsessed with entering her into beauty pageants, but when she sneaks off to the local roller derby with her best friend, she finds herself utterly hooked.
