This Halloween, DCA has two truly terrifying films by Director John Carpenter - Halloween and The Thing - and we want you to design us a Halloween poster.

The chosen design will be our official poster for advertising our Halloween films, and the winner will receive a framed print of their image, professionally printed in DCA’s Print Studio.

Your framed print will be A3 portrait in size, but the larger your image is, the better it will be as our poster.

Whether you’re already an artist or fancy trying your hand at something new, the style, colour, composition and whether you use paint, ink, collage, photography or digital medium is completely up to you.

Send your entry as a PDF to dcacinema@gmail.com along with your name, phone number and postcode by Friday 23 October to be in with a chance of winning. Images must be in portrait format, CMYK, 300 dpi, and a minimum of 70x50cm in size. Our winner will be notified by e-mail. This competition is open to everyone, including DCA Staff!
