Jane & Louise Wilson talk to give sneak peek of exhibition
16 January 2012
On Wednesday 18 January at 11:00 Jane and Louise Wilson will give a talk at the D’Arcy Thompson Lecture Theatre about their work, in advance of their exhibition opening at DCA.
This stunning exhibition will showcase a selection of recent photography and film works including Atomgrad (Nature Abhors a Vacuum), 2010, a suite of large-scale photographic prints depicting deserted interiors from the abandoned town of Pripyat. The exhibition will also feature the UK premiere of Face Scripting - What Did the Building see? 2011, which was inspired by the assassination of Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh, a Hamas operative, in a Dubai hotel room in January 2010.
The talk is presented in association with Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design and is open to students and the public. Tickets are free, but please book in advance either through DCA or the university.
