Jute has been nominated in three individual awards categories for Scotland's prestigious Scottish Chef Awards. Chris Wilson has been named one of the nominees for City Chef of the Year and Scott Smith, another of our valued kitchen team, has been nominated for Scottish Young Chef of the Year. In addition, Jute is shortlisted for Best Gourmet Menu award. We're very proud! We'll be keeping our fingers crossed when the winners are announced in Glasgow on May 10th.

The award nominations put us in some great company. Scotland-wide, Jute is up against time-honoured favourites such as Prestonfield House, Cafe St Honore and Vintners Rooms in Edinburgh, Two Fat Ladies and An Lochan in Glasgow among others. Chris and Scott have shown themselves to be an exceptionally creative team taking pleasure in constantly renewing the menus during last year. We look forward to seeing them both further shape and produce the much-praised food at Jute in future.
