Refurbished DCA Cinemas to Reopen on 3 August

2 August 2012

After closing for a fortnight for refurbishment, DCA Cinemas will reopen on Fri 3 August with new carpets, super-comfy seats and three fantastic new films. Brave is Disney Pixar's take on Scottish myths and legends; The Dark Knight Rises is the thrilling conclusion to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, and Searching for Sugar Man is an inspiring, uplifting documentary about a forgotten musical genius.

To add to the fun and celebrate the release of Brave, we've organised some special events with a Scottish twist. Members of Carnoustie Pipe Band and Tayside Highland Dancing Association will be performing outside DCA from 12:30, with extra surprises for anyone who comes along. Feeling thirsty? Grab an Irn Bru or Ginger Beer to take into the cinema for £1 from Jute Café Bar. And that's not all: you can get £1 off your ticket for Brave if you come dressed as a character from the film (Fri 3 only).
