Activity Room

See, think, make, do…drop in and have a go.

DCA Activity Room is a flexible, comfortable and imaginative space; a space in which people of all ages might play, learn and create by making connections with the artworks and practice of contemporary artists. It is located on Level 4, next to the main galleries and the Information Space.

The Activity Room is designed and themed to work with an exhibition, a particular festival or event so it changes throughout the year and will be open to the public during gallery opening hours, except when it is being used for a workshop, event or forum.

For group visits the room can be booked to extend the experience of viewing an exhibition or film. The room can seat up to 30 and provides materials, hands-on making activities and a wee library aimed at children.
