Before Thor

Taika Waititi's Back Catalogue

31 October 2017

With Thor: Ragnarok hitting our screens any day now (Fri 10 – Thu 16 November), we thought it would be fun to take a look back at director Taika Waititi’s brilliant back catalogue…

Eagle vs Shark (2007): The tale of two socially awkward misfits and the strange ways they try to find love; through revenge on high-school bullies, burgers, and video games.

Boy (2010): a hilarious and heartfelt coming-of-age tale set in ‘80s New Zealand about Boy, a dreamer who loves Michael Jackson - we were one of a handful of UK cinemas to show this charming feature when it was released, and are thrilled to welcome it back for a special re-release screening on Tue 14 November!

What We Do in the Shadows (2014): a seriously funny mockumentary about a group of vampires living in present day New Zealand -  simply terrific fun.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016): an odd-couple adventure film with a huge heart, this comes with the highest recommendation you can think of, with a cherry on the top – that’s how much we love it!

Catch the flash, funny and all-round fun Thor: Ragnarok in DCA Cinema from Fri 10 – Thu 16 November.
