Based in our Print Studio, you’ll learn how to design and print an A6 Zine.
Zines have been an important way for groups to raise issues and viewpoints, express ideas, share music tastes, have fun and make a small work of art. Coming from a tradition that goes back to the very invention of printing and ‘broadsheet ballads’, through early civil rights and women’s movements, to ‘Punk’ and street art, they have been a cheap and easy way to communicate, especially subversively.
Bring some writings and images you’d like to use. You can work on your own or collaborate.
