Fish Printing

One day course

Course dates: Sun 9 September

No it’s not a mistake – this is Gyotaku, the Japanese art of fish printing using actual fish or other sea specimens. May appeal to anglers or chefs – bring your own fish!

What will be covered?
You'll learn to print using actual sea creatures, e.g. ungutted fish (sea bass, sea bream or any kind of scaly fish), squid, clam shells.

What should I bring?
An ungutted fish or other sea specimen.

What should I wear?
Wear old clothes, as the inks we'll be using may not wash out of clothes. Please note no sandals or open-toed footwear in the Print Studio. We provide aprons and vinyl gloves.
