Eija-Liisa Ahtila is one of the most acclaimed and innovative artists of her generation. This exhibition brings her work to Scotland for the first time. Her work borrows techniques from music videos, TV commercials and documentaries to portray ‘human dramas’ which feature a cast of characters struggling to come to terms with emotional crises. Blending reality and fantasy her work explores human relationships in moments of breakdown.
