Denise Hawrysio is a Canadian artist who has lived and worked in San Francisco and London. In the prints shown here she uses chance and 'situational' occurences - mechanical, human or geological - to create marks via the medium of etching. For example, the marks made by the traffic going over a speed-bump, scree sliding down a mountain, or the marks made by strangers.
