Kirikou is a tiny boy determined to take on a sorceress. But this is no normal boy; he can walk as soon as he is born, and talk even before that! He wants to help the villagers who are scared of the powerful Karaba who is wrecking havoc on their village – so he sets out to find her. On the way he saves a boat full of children, returns water to the village, and takes on an magic tree. He is always asking questions, but Kirikou still doesn’t understand why the sorceress is so wicked. He’s determined to find out, even if that means asking her himself.
