With The Princess and The Frog finally bringing us an African American princess, along with a fantastic new set of songs you will be dancing in the aisles. Inspired? Us? We’ve gone all musical! There’s more dancing in Mad Hot Ballroom and on May 1 we host a special event where we’ll be making music in the cinema. Come on down and get involved!!
Fed up with maths? Bored of spelling? Eight-year-olds in New York are learning something new this term – they’re learning to dance. Tango, foxtrot, swing, rumba may all seem old hat, but these kids bring them a new lease of life in this real life Come Dancing story. Competing as teams for the Colours of the Rainbow dancing awards in Manhattan, we follow these children’s lives growing up in New York, making friends and striving to do what they love best – Dance!
Tickets are £2 children & under 21s, and £4 for adults. Before the Saturday screening at noon, Local dancer Elain Douris will be here to put us through our paces with a cha cha dancing workshop! The workshop is free with your ticket, but places are limited so please book in advance. Workshops take place in our Activity Room.
