Discovery Family Film Club: Music and Film Scotland (U)
1 May 2010
Cinema
A collection of fun Scottish short films with musical connections, plus some gems from the Scottish Screen archive. Watch these great films, and have a go at making your own soundtrack in the cinema with master improvisor Gerri Rossi.
Films include Scottish Bafta award winner The Happy Duckling, and the tale of the first ever sword dance, Calum Noah. Bring an instrument (or anything that makes an interesting sound!), or come to the workshop before hand to make something to play.
Make your own fun instrument workshop 12 noon in the Activity Room Saturday 1 May.
Thanks to Glasgow Improvisors Orchestra and Scottish Screen Archive at National Library of Scotland.
Tickets on sale from March 19
