Discovery Family Film Club: The Princess and The Frog (U)

3 April - 4 April 2010

Cinema

With The Princess and The Frog finally bringing us an African American princess, along with a fantastic new set of songs you will be dancing in the aisles. Inspired? Us? We’ve gone all musical! There’s more dancing in Mad Hot Ballroom and on May 1 we host a special event where we’ll be making music in the cinema. Come on down and get involved!

A frog prince mistakes Tiana, a waitress in New Orleans, for a princess and hopes that her kiss will turn him into a human prince again. But luck is not going his way . . . and they both end up as frogs! Together they set off on an adventure to find good voodoo magic queen Mama Odie hoping that she will reverse the spell. Featuring Disney’s first African American princess, and an 11 song soundtrack from Randy Newman inspired by New Orleans jazz, this is one for all the family. For more information on the film visit The Discovery Film Festival Website
