Discovery Family Film Club: Twigson (Age 5+)

25 August 2012

Cinema

Poor Junior has plenty of time to play, but no-one to play with. His family has just moved to a ramshackle old house in the country and he doesn’t know anyone. He is pretty lonely until he finds a special twig called ‘Twigson’ – a twig who can talk! Before long they’re getting into all kinds of scrapes in the woods with the oddball neighbours.

Based on the children’s book series Lillebror og Knerten by Anne-Cath. Vestly, Twigson was a huge hit in Norway and one of the highlights of last year’s Discovery Film Festival. With the sequel – Twigson Ties The Knot – all set to make its debut in this year’s festival, here’s a chance to catch up with the story so far.
