Instrument, Jem Cohen’s portrait of Fugazi, is not what you might expect froma rockumentary. The posthardcore American band have achieved success whilst fiercely holding onto their integrity and refusing the advances of major labels. The director’s friendship with the band is demonstrated throughout this intimate film which includes rarely seen interviews and live footage.
