This atmospheric adaptation of Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist’s bestseller which won Best Feature Prize at the Tribeca Film Festival is definitely not for kids.

A fragile, anxious boy, 12-year-old Oskar is regularly bullied but never strikes back. His wish for a friend seems to come true when he meets Eli, who moves in next door. A pale, serious girl who only comes out at night and doesn't seem affected by the freezing temperatures, her arrival coincides with a series of seemingly inexplicable attacks and murders. The unusual and distinctive mixture of horror and youthful romance, along with haunting production design, makes Let The Right One In one of the most memorable films of the year. See the original at DCA before the Hollywood remake (already in production) hits our screens.
