Star crossed lovers Joe Orton and Kenneth Halliwell's tragic story, Prick Up Your Ears is a brilliantly realised film based on real life events. Gary Oldman and Alfred Molina play the leads with conviction with a script written by Alan Bennett based on John Lahr's book directed with great attention to period detail by Stephen Frears.
