Deep in the heart of Jakarta's slums is an impenetrable safe house for the world's most dangerous killers and gangsters. Cloaked under the cover of pre-dawn darkness and silence, an elite SWAT team is tasked with raiding the safe house in order to take down a notorious drug lord and fight their way through the city's worst to survive their mission.

Welsh director Gareth Evans channels vintage 1980’s John Woo but brings his own unique stamp to this genre which we haven’t seen much of recently: the uber-violent and yet almost balletic action thriller.
