Timecode (15)
20 January - 21 January 2009
Cinema
Revolving around the offices of an LA film company, Timecode combines the tales of a cheating husband and his suspicious wife, an arguing lesbian couple and a quake-affected day in the life of the aforementioned company. In this audacious cinematic experiment, director Mike Figgis splits the screen into quarters and shows four separate scenes simultaneously. Each segment is shot in one continuous take, the actors improvising all the dialogue around a pre-agreed structure and the action seamlessly moving from one part of the split screen to another. :
