Family Activity at DCA

We host many fun activities for families at DCA, from film screenings and workshops, to free creative activities for all ages and online resources. To make it as easy as possible for you to plan your family trip, our monthly calendar brings everything together in one place.

December brings with it Christmas fun for all the family. The month begins with the CBeebies Panto and this year they're doing Beauty and the Beast (oh yes they are!). Other festive favourites include The Muppet Christmas Carol and The Polar Express (hop on board and come along dressed in your pjs to our 20th anniversary screenings of this magical animation). 

And there are even more films to enjoy on the big screen throughout December as we bring you two big new releases: Moana 2 and Mufasa: The Lion King.

Our Create Space will reopen on Sat 7 December, filled with activities inspired by our new exhibition Soft Impressions. And Messy Play is back with a new booking system - you can now book per mat, with a maximum of 1 baby and 2 adults per mat.

If you're coming along to DCA to enjoy some family activity, don't forget that you can extend your visit with lunch in Jute Café Bar (you can even colour in the kids menu) and a trip to our shop for some seasonal shopping.
