Family Activity at DCA

We host many fun activities for families at DCA, from film screenings and workshops, to free creative activities for all ages and online resources. To make it as easy as possible for you to plan your family trip, our monthly calendar brings everything together in one place.

We're filling the October holidays with Discovery Family Film Club screenings. Come along and revisit some of our favourite shorts with Greatest Hits and 2023 packages of our Shorts for Wee Ones and Shorts for Middle Ones. Create Space will also be open throughout the school holidays and you can explore brand new games at Drop in and Play on Sat 12 October.

The fun doesn't stop once the holidays are over because then it's time for Discovery Film Festival! Join us for three weekends filled with films from around the world, specifically chosen for young audiences, plus lots of fun workshops and drop-in sessions. 

If you're coming along to DCA to enjoy some family activity, don't forget that you can extend your visit with lunch in Jute Café Bar (you can even colour in the kids menu) and a trip to our shop.
