Family Activity at DCA

We host many fun activities for families at DCA, from film screenings and workshops, to free creative activities for all ages and online resources. To make it as easy as possible for you to plan your family trip, our monthly calendar brings everything together in one place.

We've been busy giving Create Space a new look, inspired by Claudia Martínez Garay's exhibition in DCA Galleries. Check out our opening hours and drop-in to try fun, creative activities. Our Family Art Lab also gives you a chance to make art together with the help of our artist tutors. Tickets are Donate What You Can, £0-£8, and can be booked now. And don't miss Soundplay Projects, who will be back for more sound and light fun. 

In the cinema, Discovery Family Film Club returns with animated feature Puffin Rock and New Friends. Our Relaxed screening provides an environment with consistent lighting and lower sound levels throughout. 

If you're coming along to DCA to enjoy some family activity, don't forget that you can extend your visit with lunch in Jute Café Bar (you can even colour in the kids menu) and a trip to our shop.
