DCA is temporarily closing to the public

From Mon 9 November

6 November 2020

We‘ve taken the difficult decision to temporarily close DCA to the public from Monday 9 November.  We’ve been monitoring our visitor numbers and income closely since Tier 3 restrictions came into effect this week and have come to the conclusion that our long-term sustainability will be better served by a temporary closure, especially as very few people are able to visit us at the moment.

This means the early closure, by a few days, of our current exhibition by Stuart Whipps; the show is, however, available to view online. During this closure period, our team will be working to install our next exhibition, by Emma Talbot, which we hope to open as soon as restrictions allow.

We are so grateful to the many people who have visited, donated and participated in our programme since we reopened in September: your comments and feedback have been wonderful to receive. Here’s just one that made us smile:

“Great venue, interesting content, friendly staff, great service, feels a Covid safe space."

We really hope it won’t be long before we can welcome you all back again.
