Discovery Short of the Week 23

2 February 2021

Time for another Discovery Short of the Week! These short films and activities are audience favourites from our annual Discovery Film Festival, selected by festival producer Mike Tait.

Mike says:

“Can art change the world around us? Carlos Lascano's hauntingly beautiful blend of live action and animation from our 2015 festival thinks so. Have a look, then get your crayons out and have a go at making some colourful additions to your locked-down world!”

As with all our films, we recommend parents and carers take a look at the complete film first before presenting it to children. Lila gently touches on some melancholic memories of grief and loss.

Once you've watched the film, download our creative activity ideas, originally developed for our Schools' Resource Pack by Ian Cameron. You'll notice that a couple of the live links are no longer available online, so we've added some alternative links below too.
