This week is packed with drama as we explore family relationships. C’mon, C’mon is a beautifully shot and moving film capturing a family in all their funny, sad, messy glory. Joaquin Phoenix gives a wonderfully warm performance as a bachelor tasked with looking after his nephew. Different family dynamics are on display in House of Gucci. This star-studded true crime story about the fashion dynasty makes for some glorious, jet-setting, big-screen entertainment.

Elsewhere, there’s still time to catch some outstanding French cinema as the French Film Festival comes to a close. A Tale of Love and Desire is a languorous coming-of-age film, Summer Light is a vintage classic, and Returning to Reims (Fragments) looks at 70 years of French working- class life. Even better, you can see any two films in the season for £10.

Finally, we’re starting to feel festive with the CBeebies Christmas Show, bringing with it fun for all the family. Our other Christmas screenings are also booking now, including DCA favourite It’s a Wonderful Life.

Enjoy! Visit our Films page to find out more and get a sneak peek at what's coming up, including Hand of God, The Shop Around the Corner, and more.
