#DCAcinema

28 July 2021

Revenge and romance and rollercoasters, oh my! We've got a thrilling week of films coming up at DCA Cinema, including the triumphant return of Limbo and Riders of Justice, and there's a chance to see acclaimed French titles Two of Us and Jumbo. The Croods are back for a second week of family-friendly adventure, and we're slipping on our dancing shoes for a special 35mm screening of The Last Days of Disco too.

Here's more about this week's films from Alice Black, our Head of Cinema:

“What does it mean to be a family? Belonging, kinship, connection, these are all essential to our wellbeing. They are also rich subject areas for movies too – just take a look at the variety of relationships in this week’s film programme!

“Reunite with your favourite prehistoric clan for a new adventure in The Croods 2: A New Age, and be prepared to look at fairground attractions in a whole new way after watching Jumbo. Uncover a hidden romance across the landing in Two of Us and explore the experience of refugees far from home and loved ones with Limbo. We round out our offer this week with a film that went down a storm at our recent Dundead Summer Camp – Riders of Justice – a deadly tale of friendship, revenge and salvation.

“Can’t make it to the cinema this week? We have two of these fantastic new films – Two of Us and Jumbo – available to rent online too, along with many more of our favourite recent releases. Visit athome.dca.org.uk!”

Visit our Films page for full details of all these films, plus a sneak peek at next week, including The Sparks Brothers, The World to Come, and special previews from the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
