About Create Space

DCA Create Space is a flexible, comfortable and imaginative space; a space in which people of all ages can see, think, make and do. The space includes displays and pre-packed activity sheets linked to and inspired by the exhibitions in DCA galleries. 

Visiting Create Space

  • You do not need to book to visit Create Space.
  • As Create Space is not staffed, children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Hand sanitiser is provided at the entrance to Create Space and throughout the building. 
  • You are welcome to wear a mask.
  • We support the Distance Aware scheme.
  • Please be kind, respect others and enjoy your visit.

Opening hours
Tue - Sun: 11:00 - 18:00 (except when closed for events)
Free, drop-in

Our Create Space is open to the public during the above hours, except when it might be being used for a workshop or event. If you would like to check in advance, check here (opening hours for the week are updated every Monday) or contact our Box Office on 01382 432 444 and our team will be happy to assist you. If Create Space is closed when you visit, you can find a selection of activity sheets and box on our Art Cart which is located in the Information Space.
