Jurassic World Dominion has been described by director Colin Trevorrow (returning to the series after directing 2015’s Jurassic World) as the “culmination of the franchise”, bringing together two generations of heroes into one T-Rex-sized adventure.

"...disaster strikes and they are called into action once more."

Chris Pratt’s Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire are living off-the-grid with Owen’s pet Velociraptor Blue, but when disaster strikes and they are called into action once more. Meanwhile, Ellie (Laura Dern) is reunited with Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum), marking the first time that the three beloved characters have appeared together since the 1993 original.

Dominion takes place four years after the island of Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

With dinosaurs now reclaiming the Earth, the globe-trotting adventure takes our heroes to locations across the world, giving Dominion the kind of global scale we haven’t seen before in a Jurassic film. Among the long-awaited character reunions, there is, of course, plenty of dinosaur-based carnage, from aerial run-ins with Pteranodons, to high-speed chases through sun-soaked cobbled streets. The original Jurassic Park is one of the defining films of the ‘90s, and a watershed moment for special effects on film, and this new instalment looks set to deliver on everything we love about the franchise.
