Craft Sunday: Lino Printed Tote Bags with Juniper Press

  • Select a time to view seat availability

After a summer break, Craft Sunday is back! We have an exciting programme of online and in-person workshops coming up, each giving you the chance to learn a new craft, make something special, and have a good chat. For September, we'll be joined in-person by Laura of Juniper Press, who will be showing us how to lino print onto tote bags. This will be our first in-person Craft Sunday since 2020 - we’re so excited to be able to welcome you back!

Botanical illustrator, designer and printmaker Laura is the face behind Juniper Press. Her work takes inspiration from the intricacies and detail of Scandinavian and Eastern European folk art, using nature and plants as her subject matter to tell stories and share positive messages. Laura turns her monochrome designs into a range of prints, cards, jewellery and stationary, amongst other things.

Learn how to make a lino printed tote bag using your own design, with Laura on hand to help with tips and inspiration. At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with not only your bag, but the skills and your own carved lino stamps to continue creating at home.

Tea, coffee, water and sweet treats will be available throughout the workshop. We’ll stop for a short lunch break, so bring along a packed lunch, order something from our cafe bar, or pick up a sandwich at one of the local shops close by. Masks should be worn at all times during the workshop, unless your are exempt, or when eating / drinking.
