Eaten Alive

A frantic search for a missing girl leads to the Starlight Hotel, which conceals a horrifying secret – known only to the owner Judd, a homicidal maniac who keeps a ferocious pet crocodile.

Released under a multitude of titles including Death Trap, Tobe Hooper’s Eaten Alive is a wonderfully macabre tale with a surreal dreamlike quality and a delightfully gaudy visual style. In Britain, Eaten Alive was banned as a ‘video nasty’ and for years was only available in a censored edition. Rest assured, Dundead will host a beautifully restored and uncut version of this underrated classic.
