Relaxed: Missing Link

Chris Butler

Laika may not be the biggest or best known animation studio in the world, but its wonderful animated stories have all been very popular with Discovery audiences: Coraline, Paranorman, The Boxtrolls, and Kubo And The Two Strings. We’re thrilled to complete the set with their fifth feature, the exciting family adventure that is Missing Link.

"Promises to be an absolute visual treat..."

Sir Lionel Frost is fascinated by tales of mythical monsters, and dashes off to America’s Pacific Northwest when he hears about the legendary Sasquatch, determined to be the first to prove it exists. Amazingly, he does actually stumble across a living remnant of Man’s primitive ancestry, and comes face to face with the Missing Link. He is then persuaded by his new friend to set out on a daring quest around the world to seek out Mr Link’s distant relatives, the Yetis, in the fabled valley of Shangri-La. Unfortunately, the pair are being tracked by a bounty hunter recruited by Sir Lionel’s rival explorers, who are out to sabotage his plans.

With the voices of Hugh Jackman, Matt Lucas and David Walliams, and the fascinating attention to detail that is Laika’s animation style, this promises to be an absolute visual treat, and a Link not to be missed!
