Filmmaker Emerald Fennell won an Original Screenplay Oscar for her 2020 film Promising Young Woman, as well as a raft of nominations, and her follow-up, the buzzy Saltburn is eagerly anticipated. Starring Barry Keoghan in one of his first major leading roles, it is a dark and funny look at privilege and desire.

Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick (Keoghan) finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi, also to be seen playing the part of Elvis in Priscilla), who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling and lavish estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.
