Soft Subtitled Screening: Murder on the Orient Express

Kenneth Branagh

What could be more fun on a cold dreary day in November than a classic whodunnit? With Kenneth Branagh at the helm rounding up an all-star cast which includes Dame Judi Dench, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad, Murder on the Orient Express looks like just the ticket.

"Everyone is a suspect..."

What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling murder mysteries ever told. From the classic novel by Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express is the story of 13 strangers stranded on a train, where no one escapes suspicion and everyone is a potential killer. One man, Detective Hercule Poirot (Branagh himself, sporting what can only be described as the most outlandish moustache seen on screen in recent times) must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.

In the words of the most famous Belgian policeman “A passenger has died. The murderer is on the train now. Everyone is a suspect. So, let’s catch a killer."
