The Boy Who Turned Yellow (35mm)

This screening will be introduced by Mike Tait, DCA’s Discovery Film Festival Producer, and is part of Cinema Unbound – our 14 screening Powell and Pressburger retrospective celebrating Britain’s greatest and most enduring filmmaking partnership.

Please note: we will be showing this film from a vintage 35mm print, so some wear and tear may be visible on screen. 

In this final collaboration between Powell and Pressburger, which was made for the Children’s Film Foundation, a schoolboy loses his pet mouse while on a trip to the Tower of London. The next day, he and an entire trainload of people all of a sudden turn bright yellow.
