The Princess

Ed Perkins

This film contains sequences of flashing lights that may affect those susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other photosensitivities.

Avoiding the usual documentary format of expert interviews and talking heads, this portrait of Princess Diana emerges entirely out of the media footage from the time.

The result is a bold and immersive telling of her life and death. Turning the camera back on ourselves, the film illuminates the profound impact she had and how the public’s attitude to the monarchy was, and still is, shaped by these events.

"...a bold and immersive telling of her life and death."

From Academy-Award nominated director Ed Perkins (Tell Me Who I Am), and Academy-Award winning producer Simon Chinn (Searching for Sugar ManMan on Wire).
