The perfect introduction to the screen printing process. 

Screen printing is one of the most popular printmaking techniques in DCA Print Studio. In this one-day workshop you will learn how to create wonderfully colourful and graphic prints using hand-cut paper stencils. This class will give you the basic skills needed to move onto more advanced screen printing courses.

Need to know

  • What to bring

We provide everything you'll need, just bring yourself. You are welcome to bring along any inspiration, images or sketchbooks to work from.

 

  • What to wear

We'll provide aprons and gloves but recommend wearing old clothes as printmaking can be messy. Please note that open-toed footwear and sandals are not allowed.

 

  • Food & drinks

A sealed water flask or drinking vessel is permitted but other food and drinks are not allowed in the studio.

Luke Cassidy Greer

Luke Cassidy Greer is a printmaker, graphic designer and artist based in Dundee, Scotland. Working across a range of print mediums, he primarily explores ideas of mapping, cultural recollection, and how printed media interacts in public settings.
