Green City Life (la Belle Ville)

Duration: 1h25m
Dates: Sat 29 Jun 2024 18:00

We’re delighted to be teaming up with the UK Green Film Festival to bring you a selection of some of the very best films from around the world, exploring some of the big environmental issues of the day.

Screening as part of the UK Green Film Festival, along with Deep Rising on 22 June and Light Needs on 26 June.

How do we build the city of tomorrow? Manon and François, two young city dwellers, travel to Mexico, Europe, and the US in search of concrete and revolutionary initiatives to bring the benefits of nature to the heart of urban life. As world populations continue to grow and the climate crisis deepens, they discover inspiring ideas that rethink the way we live, from revegetation to urban farming and bio-waste recovery.

By making the link between all these solutions, they offer us their vision of what the green city of tomorrow could be, calling on governments, private companies, and citizens to take action.
