Duration: Three-day course
Dates: Sat 30 Mar 11:00 - Sat 6 Apr 2024 17:00
Location: Digital Suite

This hands-on filmmaking and video editing course covers the basic skills of shooting and assembling digital footage using industry standard software.

During the course you will learn basic camera operating skills and how to apply a range of video editing techniques to enhance your video projects and take your skills to the next level. You'll shoot scenes outdoors, learning how to compose shots and the basics of audio recording.

Then, in our Digital Suite, you'll be shown the interface of Premiere Pro and learn how to create new projects and sequences and how to adjust speed, colour and exposure. You'll also be shown how to add titles, captions and credits, edit audio and add sound effects, as well as how to layer videos and apply basic effects. The course will finish with you exporting video projects.
