Ciné Sunday: Superman

Superman, DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is soaring on to the big screen at DCA. In his signature style, director James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.

In this brand new story, David Corenswet (Twisters, Lady in the Lake) takes on the role of Superman as he embarks on a journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent. Expect plenty of thrills and heart, along with the appearance of Superman's adorable canine companion Krypto.
