After years of only a single 35mm print being available for exhibition, Pat O'Connor's bold and passionate drama Cal has been restored and remastered.

Cal, a young man on the fringes of the IRA, falls in love with Marcella, a Catholic woman whose husband, a Protestant policeman, was killed one year earlier by the IRA.

Featuring an award-winning performance from Helen Mirren (Best Actress, 1984 Cannes Film Festival) and a score from Mark Knopfler, Cal remains as fearless and intimate as ever.
