Buy items from a collection of talented makers and get an insight into the processes and techniques used in their work at this special CRAFTED event.

Joining us from across Scotland, thirteen makers will be showcasing and selling their designs as well as sharing more about the skill and work that goes into their craft. 

Browse and buy handcrafted items, including printed cushions, ceramic mugs, jesmonite accessories, silver jewellery, wooden vessels, decorative glass and more. 

Each maker will also be highlighting different aspects their practice, from videos of them at work and examples of different stages of their processes to demonstrations and information about how you can get involved with workshops and classes.

Astrid Weigel

Astrid Weigel is a textile designer/maker producing a collection of screen printed art and home accessories. Inspired by nature and everyday life, she combines these themes with shapes and textures to form stylised images.

Beth is a Scottish wood engraver, linocut artist and illustrator from Fife. She prints limited edition wood engravings and linocuts on her two beautiful 19th century printing presses.

Lesley Balfour is a printmaker/artist based in Angus. Fascinated by nature’s detail and patterns, her original linocut prints are inspired by the wildlife and plants found in her garden and the natural landscape of Angus.

Thistlemoss was established in 2015 in order to fulfil creator Zoe Jacob Rogers' vision of creating practical, useful objects to make people smile. Items are created using eco-friendly inks and natural linen.

Getting to Centrespace

Centrespace is located on floor -3 of DCA. To get there, head to Jute Café Bar and then follow the stairs down at the entrance to DCA Print Studio. There will be signs showing the way or our friendly staff will be happy to point you in the right direction. Centrespace can also be accessed via the lift by selecting floor -3.
