Richard Linklater (Boyhood) writes a love letter to French cinema in Nouvelle Vague, a delightful black-and-white tribute to the development of Jean-Luc Godard’s 1959 feature Breathless.

This comedy-drama tracks the films creation, from Godard’s collaboration with François Truffaut and Claude Chabrol, to the disastrous shoot which pushed its star Jean Seberg to the brink. Featuring an outstanding cast including Zoey Deutsch as Seberg herself, Nouvelle Vague pays homage to a key chapter in the history of filmmaking and is a must for cinema fans everywhere.
