Alvin Straight, a 73-year-old, learns that his estranged brother Lyle is critically ill. Unable to drive, Alvin embarks on a journey from Iowa to Mt. Zion riding a lawn mower, thus beginning a picturesque and deeply human odyssey.

Based on a true story, David Lynch's beautiful 1999 drama was a critical hit on release, nominated for multiple awards including an Oscar nomination for actor Richard Farnsworth.

This stunning 4K restoration was supervised by Lynch from the original 35mm negative, while Ronald Eng, the original sound supervisor and mixer on the film, revived the soundtrack.
