Discovery Family Film Club: Shorts for Wee Ones 2023

Get ready for this year's Discovery Film Festival by enjoying our Shorts for Wee Ones selection from 2023. 

This collection of seven short films for our viewers aged 3+ is sure to delight and amuse, with a variety of stories and styles gathered from around the world, including Germany, France, Latvia, Belgium, Estonia and The Netherlands. 

A sunflower learns of a whole new nocturnal world, two sisters play together and grow closer over the years and a little fish discovers new friends (and an enemy) in a tidal rockpool. A giant rock makes new friends in a village it crashes into, and we learn of a very different perspective on the traditional Enormous Turnip tale. 

All these short films are in English or dialogue free – though one features a gentle lullaby with Latvian lyrics.
