Bring your class to Discovery Film Festival to experience cultures, languages and stories from all over the world.

This autumn, we’re pleased to welcome you to the 23rd edition of Discovery Film Festival. After a huge response last year, all of our screenings will be FREE once again, with bus travel also free for Dundee schools! A trip to the cinema can be accompanied by a workshop, and we have free resources too made by a dedicated group of local teachers.
We have so many films to look forward to – from the very youngest nursery groups to Senior secondary school students and beyond, there’s plenty for all ages including animated shorts, live action feature films and more.

Discovery Film Festival allows pupils to experience a foreign language film, explore the themes of the movie and engage in rich discussion about the film itself.
