Two women kiss

Dissonance + Q&A

Duration: 30m + Q&A
Dates: Sun 28 Jun 2026 20:00 - 21:00

We’re teaming up with Dundee Pride to bring you a season of films to celebrate Pride month!

Artist and filmmaker Aderayo Adenekan will be joining us for a post-film Q&A following this screening, hosted by Leo Fahringer.

Dissonance is an experimental short film following a young Black woman exploring her queerness after moving cities, battling internal conflict from homophobic upbringing.

Split between wordless narrative and documentary epilogue, the film uses movement, sound, and symbolism to capture psychological dissonance between taught identity and authentic self-discovery.
